Reeve Tuesti controlled Cait Sith, a fortune-telling robot, remotely during the events of Final Fantasy VII. Initially, his intent was to infiltrate Cloud's group and sabotage their resistance efforts on behalf of Shinra Electric Power Company. The character design for this era featured Reeve standing 180 cm tall with long black hair slicked back and a trimmed beard, wearing a blue suit with a red tie. Although Reeve planned for the robot to capture monsters and fight with a whip or cards, these were cut; instead, he utilized a Limit Break involving a slot machine that could instantly defeat all enemies or the party itself. When his cover as a Shinra spy was blown, the dynamic shifted entirely. He joined the group to prevent the disaster, later appearing in Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth.
